Media One Radio Group was formed in 2002 for the purchase of WWSE|WJTN in Chautauqua County’s largest city of Jamestown, New York - the birthplace of Lucille Ball, home of the National Center of Comedy as well as the world famous Chautauqua Institution.

The company added WHUG|WKSN|WQFX in 2004.  A renovation of Media One Radio Group’s Orchard Road Studios allowed these three stations to be headquartered in the same facility of the administration, sales and broadcast studios of WWSE|WJTN.

In 2007 Media One Radio Group purchased WREO|WYBL|WFJX|WZOO|WFUN of Ashtabula, Ohio from Clear Channel Communications.

Media One Radio Group added Lake County’s first ever FM radio station, WQGR, in 2013 and built a state of the art broadcast studio in Mentor, Ohio.

In January 2018 Media One Radio Group was granted a license for a FM translator.  WJTN’s programming began broadcasting on both 1240 and the new 101.3 FM in May 2018.

Media One Radio Group purchased WKZA-Jamestown, a class B-1 FM station, from Cross Country Communications in August 2018 and moved it into the Orchard Road broadcast headquarters.

Thirteen total frequencies broadcast Media One Radio Group selective programming across Ohio, Pennsylvania and New York.
